Linnya 0.1.0 is available for Apple Silicon macOS and Windows x64. Read the data compatibility notes below before visiting the download page.

Interface and creation ​

• Updated the desktop interface, design language, and brand icons; improved model selection, nested menus, and conversation citations.
• Improved Slides web editing, zoom controls, editing-state synchronization, and image rendering and export.
• Improved Agent, command execution, and desktop runtime stability.
• Project initialization now uses the unified conversation. Fixed old files appearing in new projects, repeated sidebar movement, and empty-project expansion jumps.
• Deleting a project also stops its running tasks and deletes its conversations and associated data. The confirmation explains that deletion is permanent.

Models and credentials ​

• No default models are preconfigured. Add your own models and API credentials in Settings. Linnya Cloud model services are currently unavailable.
• Desktop and CLI share a credential file in the application's private data directory, without depending on the system keyring. Read or parsing failures preserve the original file and report an error. Legacy credentials are not migrated; configure them again.
• In read-only and standard modes, a Shell command that directly references the credential file or its directory prompts for approval. Allow it once or save a rule for the same command and working directory in the current conversation. Full access runs directly. Windows account isolation and administrator initialization are not required. This static risk prompt does not guarantee that scripts, dynamic paths, or path aliases cannot read credentials.

Bundled plugins ​

This version bundles Slides only. Mindmap and experimental Decision are excluded; their source and development entry points remain available. Existing data belonging to an absent plugin is retained, but its document type cannot be edited in this version. The database compatibility restriction for 0.0.35 is described below.

This version uses official plugins bundled with the application. You can enable or disable them in Plugins. Remote installation and updates are unavailable; plugins are updated with the desktop application.

Installation and upgrades ​

• Release targets are Apple Silicon macOS and Windows x64.
• This Windows release does not use Authenticode signing and may show an unverified publisher warning.
• The new release uses a separate update channel. Version 0.0.35 will not automatically upgrade, and its existing update feed is retained.

Already using 0.0.35? Keep your existing installation ​

0.1.0 introduces an incompatible data format. Installing the new application does not convert a 0.0.35 database. There is currently no direct database upgrade path from 0.0.35.

1. Export the documents you need from the old version. Document exports do not back up all conversations, knowledge indexes, or settings.
2. Fully quit the old application, then back up its entire data directory and retain a working copy of the old application. Do not copy only the database file or delete the original directory.
3. Keep using the old version for ongoing work. Do not overwrite your only copy of the data or let both versions open the same directory.

New users can start with empty data. Existing 0.0.35 users should retain their old application and data, and avoid replacing the installation used for existing projects. No automatic migration tool is provided. Backups allow restoration of the old version; they do not guarantee readability in the new version.

Windows installation notice ​

This Windows installer is not code-signed. Windows may show an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen prompt. Only obtain the installer from the official download page and verify the published checksum. Do not disable system security protections. If you prefer not to run unsigned software, wait for a signed release.
