Linnya 0.1.1 is available for Apple Silicon macOS and Windows x64. Get official installers from the download page.

Documents and conversations ​

• Fixed inline formulas losing bold and other formatting when accepting revisions. Text-only changes no longer show unchanged formulas as deleted and recreated.
• Normalizing whitespace at bold boundaries no longer creates extra revisions; actual whitespace changes remain visible.
• The editor character count refreshes after accepting or rejecting revisions.
• Conversation titles follow the main model by default; a separate title model can be selected in settings.
• Improved project file search and reduced index storage.

Slides and desktop reliability ​

• Improved filmstrip drop targets and vertical text alignment in exported PPTX files.
• Reduced script execution preparation time and improved interrupted model response handling.
• Fixed window close and Cmd+Q becoming unresponsive after the background service exits. If running tasks cannot be checked or a document cannot be saved, a clear prompt lets you return or continue quitting.
• Fixed invalid file-address errors and Windows source checkout identification in the development CLI.

Installing and upgrading ​

Using 0.1.0 ​

Update from the app or install the new version from the website. Back up your complete data first and quit the old application. Do not let both versions open the same data directory at once.

The new version includes regression coverage for upgrading the released 0.1.0 database structure. Upgraded data is not guaranteed to work in older applications; keep a backup from before the upgrade.

Using 0.0.35 ​

Version 0.0.35 will not automatically update to 0.1.1, and no direct database migration tool is provided. Installing the app does not migrate data. Keep the old application and a complete data backup, continue using it for existing projects, and do not overwrite your only copy or share a data directory between versions.

New users can start with empty data. Configure your own models and API credentials; Linnya Cloud model services are currently unavailable.

Platforms and plugins ​

• The macOS package supports Apple Silicon only and uses Developer ID signing and Apple notarization.
• The Windows x64 installer is not Authenticode-signed and may show unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warnings. Get it only from the official website and verify its checksum; do not disable system security protections.
• Only Slides is bundled. Mindmap, experimental Decision, and closed-source plugins are not included. Remote plugin installation and updates remain unavailable.
